Some time ago you donated five solar lamps to us for use in Africa. We sent the lamps to various clinics, and one of them has recently written back to us expressing in their own words their gratitude. The lamps all went to health centres for use in surgery or other night-time work.

I attach the letter from Sr Martha Yahnkar, the Sister in Charge, describing the benefit their lamp has brought.

The health centre is in Cameroon in West Africa in a remote mountainous area. I attach a map to show the approximate location.

As the letter says, the lamp is very gratefully received. Many thanks again for your generous donation.
